The Specific Carbohydrate Diet Association (SCDA) was created in 2018 to raise awareness of the benefits of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet™ (SCD™) while unifying the Community including followers, parents, caregivers, doctors, clinicians, companies and others around the world. We provide education, support, guidance and inspiration via social media platforms and conferences for the public and community to learn, network and support each other. And, we promote research of the SCD around the world.
Position Summary:
The Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager will be experienced, tech-savvy, and creative professional to continue to build the organization’s online and media presence. The position includes content creation for the organization’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, website) as well as email communications. The Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager will develop and supplement strategic campaigns to attract current and new followers and build brand awareness on a global level. The successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms, aptitude for marketing and communications, ability to demonstrate engagement via social media analytics, and awareness of best practices as they evolve.

The Manager of Development will be responsible for developing and executing a fundraising and sponsorship development plan to increase revenue that will include seasonal appeals, grants, sponsorships through all social media channels and charity giving portals (Benevity, Network for Good, Amazon Smile, Paypal, Fidelity Giving Marketplace) as well as email communications.
